Plants run better with Yokogawa pressure transmitters.
At it's heart, Yokogawa's Gauge Pressure Transmitter with DPharp digital sensor offers the performance and device intelligence needed to get greater insight into your process.
Digital Performance
Yokogawa's DPharp digital sensor offers twice the performance and stability of the competitor's analog sensors. The DPharp uses the latest in IC Chip-style design and manufacturing technology. Analog sensors are based on older design technology. Although analog sensors are good, the modern DPharp sensor out performs them.
Poor Performance = Lost Money.
Local Indicator
Easy to read indicator provides all the information you need. The indicator can display any of the variables measured; alarm codes with short text; and a sweeping bar graph to give a graphical representation of the process. Fully programmable, the indicator can be customized for your needs. Unlike competitor's transmitters, the indicator is not driven off the 4 to 20mA analog signal, but, exist as a separate circuit. This allow the display to operate independently from the output signal. This allows for the local display to indicate information that maybe more useful than the primary variable at the transmitter location.
More Information = Found Money
Standard Diagnostics
The EJA110E has 40 self-diagnostic checks to ensure that everything is running smoothly within the transmitter. But, all transmitters on the market have a level self-diagnostic checks. But, Yokogawa has two that are not offered by competitors. First, the transmitter features a patented Back-check Technology that reverse checks all calculations in real-time. Second, the DPharp sensor is an active sensor. This means that the sensor is constantly supplying a signal even when the process has not changed. If the signal is lost from the sensor, the transmitter knows there is an issue. Competitor's analog sensors are passive. They do not supply a continual signal, so, is the sensor still working when there is no signal?
Good Diagnostics = Less Surprises
Yokogawa pressure transmitters help plants run longer.
Yokogawa's DPharp active sensor, patented back-check diagnostics, and rugged construction allow users to run their plants safer and with less downtime.
Rugged Construction
Ruggedly constructed pressure transmitter can help your plant reduce failures. Yokogawa pressure transmitter have construction features that are designed to allow it to outlive your plant. Dual seal certified to ANSI/ISA 12.27.01 and NEMA 4x (IP66/IP67) Housing - all design features to extend the life of the transmitter.
Ruggedness = Reliability
Proven in Use
Starting with a clean sheet of paper, Yokogawa developed in the early 1990s a completely new pressure sensing technology - the DPharp sensor. Yokogawa made a large commitment of resources and money in its development. That dedication paid off and by late 2015, there are over 9 million installed Yokogawa transmitters and calibrators worldwide using this technology. The DPharp sensor is a proven technology.
Less Downtime = Making Product
Independent Verification
The Yokogawa EJA-E pressure transmitter series' performance and reliability has been verified by independent third parties from around the world. From Safety System SIL rating to general performance evaluations, the EJA-E series has met or surpassed every test that it has been given.
Less Downtime = Making Product
Inherently Safe
All Yokogawa EJA-E series pressure transmitter are designed and certified to IEC61508:2010 Parts 1 through 7 and IEC61511:2004 Parts 1 through 3. They are certified for single transmitter use in SIL 2 rated safety applications and dual transmitter use in SIL 3 rated safety applications with no special option required. With Yokogawa EJA-E transmitters, no longer will you have to maintain two separate inventories - one for production applications and one for safety applications. How much will that save your company? The certificates are available under the "Download" tab above.
Inherently Safe = Reliability
For Yokogawa, safety should never be an option.
Active Sensor Technology
The DPharp sensor is an active sensor. This means that the sensor is constantly supplying a signal even when the process has not changed. If the signal is lost from the sensor, the transmitter knows there is an issue. Competitor's analog sensors are passive. They do not supply a continual signal, so is the sensor still working when there is no signal? An active sensor is inherently safe.
Inherently Safe = Reliability
Patented Self-check system
Yokogawa's EJA110E pressure transmitters as a patented real-time reverse check of the signal to ensure all calculations are preformed correctly. This system ensures that the transmitter is converting the signal from the sensor into the analog signal and digital protocol correctly.
Inherently Safe = Reliability
Routine maintenance is easier with Yokogawa pressure transmitters.
Yokogawa's DPharp pressure transmitters offer long-term stability and diagnostics to make your maintenance routine easy.
Extended Calibration Intervals
Yokogawa EJA-E series pressure transmitters have a long-term stability of ±0.1% per 7 years under all operational conditions. As you gain experience with these transmitters, you will be able to extend the time between calibration checks. Long-term this can help reduce your maintenance cost by up to 33%. Spend your time where it is needed.
Quicker Maintenance = Less Downtime
Mulitple Communication Options
Save Time, Save Money. Yokogawa offers the FieldMate / LPS platform to help you communicate and track your pressure transmitters. FieldMate is a Windows based communication suite that can be loaded onto a standard PC, laptop, or tablet computer. It can assist you in managing your entire instrument inventory. FieldMate HHC is a traditional hand-held communicator that allows you to communicate with transmitters in the field. If you forget your HHC, the LPS feature of your Yokogawa transmitter allows you to update 9 parameter without the HHC.
Quicker Maintenance = Less Downtime
Safety is Standard
All Yokogawa EJA-E series pressure transmitter are designed and certified to IEC61508:2010 Parts 1 through 7 and IEC61511:2004 Parts 1 through 3. They are certified for single transmitter use in SIL 2 rated safety applications and dual transmitter use in SIL 3 rated safety applications with no special option required.
